Makersway (previously ASDesign) is a specialist Interior Design studio based in Plimmerton, Porirua in the Wellington region.

Our focus is the home. We enjoy creating connected living environments through the integration of spatial planning, architectural design solutions, custom built-in joinery, and well considered interior furnishings and finishes.

We believe that the best designs come from actively partnering with our clients. We take the time to understand our clients’ rhythms of life and what they value most. We create spaces that support, enhance and celebrate those rhythms and values.

Our design philosophy balances creative ‘out of the box’ thinking with grounded practicality and ease-of-use. Our highly detailed plans ensure the design vision is clearly communicated, giving confidence that what is drawn will be faithfully realised.

With over 25 years of combined experience in new build and renovation projects, our team has the skills and industry connections to take your project from concept to completion. Based in Wellington, our work extends across Porirua, the Kāpiti Coast and throughout New Zealand.
