How We Work
Stage 1 > Initial Design Discussion
Every project is unique. We don’t believe in repeating the same design solution. We approach each project with fresh thinking and a commitment to understanding your vision and responding in a way that is personal, distinctive and well considered. Our first meeting is an opportunity to get to know each other and to learn more about your project. We’ll talk about how you live, what’s important to you, and how you would like your new spaces to work. We will invite you to share your thoughts, ideas, and aspirations which will help inform our design approach.
Following our initial discussions, we will provide a detailed fee proposal based on the scope and specific needs of your project.
Stage 2 > Sketch ideas
Every successful project starts with a strong spatial framework. This stage is dedicated to layout, flow and function. Resolving key design details and selecting materials that reflect the character and intent of the space. The scope of this stage may also extend to the selection of floor and wall finishes, window treatments, feature lighting and furniture selection.
Stage 3 > Finalising of Materials and finishes
Through showroom visits and the supply of material samples for you to see and touch, we finalise all materials, products and finishes. We resolve how and where each element will be incorporated into the final design and ensure cohesion throughout the project where multiple rooms are being considered. Stage 4 > Working Drawings & Specifications
With all selections and design decisions confirmed, we prepare a comprehensive documentation package. This includes detailed built-in joinery plans, elevations, and specifications developed using architectural software, along with schedules for all interior fittings, furnishings, lighting, and window treatments. We can obtain quotations for all aspects of the work and provide recommendations for trusted tradespeople and suppliers. We provide project management services and oversee the implementation of the design through to completion.
